Floors Castle and Golf

The magnificent Floors Castle is located 27 miles from the House is the home of the Duke of Roxburghe. It was designed and built in the 1720s by the architect William Adam and is heavily influenced by the French Palace of Versailles embellished with turrets and battlements. The castle is the largest inhabited castle of all of Scotland, and consists of several very important works of art, and antiquities. Walk through the breathtaking walled gardens, and formal and informal gardens. You can also take part in a variety of activities at the Castle including the annual hunt, archery, Easter Egg hunt, Falconery, Pipe Bands from across the Scottish Borders, Highland Dancers and Highland Games.
