The Drawing Room
Serve traditional English afternoon tea in this soothing and elegant formal Drawing room, full of beautiful details. The room was built during the era of early Victorian explorers, when Dr Livingstone and Henry Stanley were first discovering Africa and Egypt, and reflects such exploits with an Egyptian theme. The room is adorned with gilt hyroglyph details carved into the stone of the House, large oil paintings reminescent of the time, and 19th Centuty Edwardian furniture with hand carved Egyptian motifs.
